weekend necessities

part quatre

chloe sevigny

mmhmm.  That's right, this it girl is all over fashion magazines recognized by her ability to pull together anything and then pull it off.  She too has a quirky style about her but with those fabulous legs- she sure know how to show them off as well. She also is a designer for one of my favorite boutiques in soho- opening ceremony, which can acclaim how amazingly talented she is. Folks- drum roll please...

5 weekend necessities

1) ummm, hello.  yes.  This pink blazer has taken me downtown, uptown, and around town.  No matter where I wear this to, it can be dressed up or down.  Blazers are always a classic fashion statement but then add shoulder pads and a blast of hot pink- whoa- you've got yourself a winner.

2) leather leggings.  sassy, sexy, but they still cover your bum.  A must for those cold nights out!

3) Pernikoff Brothers  Come and check these guys out at the Pageant TONIGHT!!  They are incredible!  See for yourself here:

4) globe chandeliers.  I'm a firm believer that light fixtures can take a place from drab to fab.  Now if I only had these...

5) avocado, cream cheese, and salsa stuffed pastry- what the what?!?  Simply amazing.  Score yourself some this weekend- it's cold out there and you need a little treat.

part trois

day three

rachel bilson

This is a girl after my own heart.  Besides being completely adorable- her fashion sense is astounding.  She pairs highs and lows like it's going out of style (heehee).  After watching her on the completely over-obsessed show (obsessed by moi), "The O.C.", I have kept my eye out for this one.  She always looks amazing and now has her own advice column in instyle.  Now let's take a peek inside her wardrobe...

welp- have  no fear- here is something that can be your weekend project.  Plus- if it's cold and rainy where you are, like it is here- this will be the perfect weekend project.

part deux

day two

diane kruger

This quirky dresser shares the same love of fashion as I do: a bit of roaring 20's with a splash of lady like, modern casual. Plus, anyone that shares my love of hats is a winner in my book.

simply gorgeous, right?
her style, her grace.
love it.

week of fashion icons- part une

whew- today was a busy, busy day.  Not that I got ANYTHING accomplished but one of those days that you don't actually sit down until 9:37 pm (usually it's about 8:37).  It was actually another great day here in STL and I'm beginning to think this is a nasty trick.  Where is all our snow and is it going to be dumped in March?  So not cool.

I hereby present to you... a week of my fashion icons...
enjoy...

Thing is- you either have it or you don't: this girl is all over it!

Some friends can attest to how much I love wikipedia, so here it is:  A little info about our style star-
Well, according to wikipedia...so I guess you never know...
